LOVELY LITTLE LILAC

This lilac bush was my Mother's Day present nearly 40 years ago. It's one of my favorite plants, although it never did especially well - probably because it never had a spot in full sun light. This year it has only two blossoms - I'll enjoy their beautiful scent every day as long as they're available. My grandmother used to keep lilac sachets in her dresser, and I'm definitely reminded of her when I smell lilacs - another reason it's a favorite of mine. (My absolute favorite flower/plant is the hydrangea. I hope to have some lovely hydrangea blossoms to blip later in the summer.)
