Bordering on an Emergency Blip

Well, in reality it really is, although it's early yet, it's too dark to go outside to take a photo! Short of taking a shot of my pile of moving boxes, I was at wit's end. I'd planned to get outside during the short time that the sun appeared amongst the dark gray sky, but my brother-in-law stopped by and we chatted for a couple of hours as I watched the light fade. So this is a bit of a cheat, having taken this lovely lettuce shot yesterday. But I fiddled with it today. My little patch of lettuce is still growing well in the raised veggie bed, despite snow dustings, hail and cold temps. During some mild years, the lettuce will actually make it through the winter. We'll see!
