Solitude

Today’s blip marks the completion of my eleventh month with Blipfoto. I will finish my first attempt at a 365 photo challenge in just one more month. I am so happy to have found this community, and I appreciate all of the encouragement that I have received this year.

The walking trail that runs along the river’s edge was very quiet. I did not encounter any wildlife in the woods, and all I could hear was the sound of the wind in the trees, and the rustling of the leaves all around me. I felt very much alone, but grateful for the peaceful solitude that I found here.
