With all these empty offices lying around there should be plenty of space for people still being made to go into offices to spread out a bit. It must also be nice to renovate a giant room like this where there's space to move around, unlike our kitchen, which got new bits delivered to it today which don't fit very well when there are still things like washing machines and sinks in their old locations, where they will remain until at least their housings are installed. I assume things have to be done to the wall and floor and pipes before the cabinets into which water-using devices can be fitted, but the return of the electrician tomorrow might hopefully mean that things like hobs can be wired up, as I'm not sure how long my flasks of coffee will last.
