Light show
The back-lit colours of the stained glass were like a consolation prize for a fruitless trip to the chemist.
In the evening we went to see Banshees of Inisherin at The Dominion.
When I'd first mentioned this film about fallings-out and grudges to Mo, she'd replied that it sounded a lot like Skye. It does a brilliant job of transporting you to a slower, more isolated world.
Some great moments, like the priest saying to Brendan Gleeson's character, "Do you think God gives a fuck about miniature donkeys?” and the sadness on his face when he replies "I fear he doesn't".
A beautiful-looking film, too.
