Thrashing That Dress!

The day after their wedding, things were moving slowly and without much purpose! So, the whole Thrash The Dress shoot we were going to do around sunset amongst giant boulders and the crashing surf got waylaid.

As Dave & Alicia soothed aching limbs and heads, relaxing on the beach.

So, it was about 8 pm, in virtual darkness, that I found myself chest deep in the hotel swimming pool hoping that I could get a decent shot.

I had to get someone to stand at the edge of the pool and shine a light in their face to get a lockable focus. And then hope that the DOF would somehow catch them in focus.

All this while trying to keep the camera dry and how to avoid the 2 jumpers about to land in on top of me.

Anyway things didn't work out to shoddy. Seems that having those few beers before hand hadn't been a bad thing after all. Liquid-Anti-Shake-Technology!
