Glad Santa is on our side.

After yesterday we both overslept this morning and so decided not to walk with the Pudseys.
However we did go to the market to buy our fish. Also bought a couple of currant tea cakes which we had toasted when we got back home, along with a cuppa.
We pass this pub on our way from the car park, and liked the way they have combined the World Cup with Christmas.
The outside is festooned with flags of all the nations taking part as well as fairy lights. However the windows are covered in huge English flags.
With Santa’s support we are bound to win.
Or maybe not!

Did you hear about the racing snail who got rid of his shell? He thought it would make him faster but it just made him sluggish.
