Unfinished...

...Den Haag Centraal - it'll be great when it's done, in the meantime no trams were passing through, so I walked to and from the ballet this evening.

I was invited to the world premier of the latest work by Lightfoot-Leon...I am ever so lucky. It was awesome!

Really got me thinking...we spend hours, days, weeks, months of our lives building, creating, collaborating...yet nothing is ever finished. There's always more to be done, subtleties to tweak, tiny bits to add, sections to rethink, edges to remove. Life is a constant building project...and we're continually changing and developing along the way...sometimes alone, often with others. Moments of up, times of down, weeks of stormy weather. Then just when you think you're done, you step back to admire the finished product and notice something else that needs attention.

We're never really done...and that's good...that's how it should be. Always learning, growing, changing. Sometimes starting again to get it right, to learn from mistakes.

It's the journey, not the destination. If you build it...
