Full day

Penny came this morning to help me choose the articles for this week’s edition of the Talking Newspaper. We went to the same school very many years ago, and seem to have a lot in common. Time passed quickly and we put together a good edition.
As she left I took my blip over the fence. There has been a light fog all day..
It wasn’t fog that made us late for a hospital appointment this afternoon, it was traffic jams. There had been an accident on the M25 and it was closed so traffic had spilled out onto local roads that were not able to cope. We spent a lot of time in stationary traffic. We had allowed half an hour extra but used that and more. It didn’t matter because everybody else was late for the same reason! By the time we came home it was dark as well as foggy, and although we chose a different route home, there was still a massive amount of traffic. We really don’t enjoy night driving any more.
