A day of errands today. First stop Canadian Tire to pick up an artificial Christmas tree that my mom wanted and then to the tire shop to drop off a winter tire that needs repair. It’s our DIL’s tire that is stored at our house and we noticed it was flat. Then on to Burlington to drop off a poinsettia and a new bath mat for my MIL and then to my parents to celebrate my dad’s 84th birthday. We set up the tree, got take out dinner and ate the cake we brought. They are happy with their “pencil tree”. A busy day and it was nice to come home and enjoy the warmth from the fire before retiring.
