,,, seen from my seat at our dining table Another clear early winter day (in the 40s F). Our outing was across the river to Trader Joe's in Hadley, where we bought breakfast cereal and other routine items.

In the afternoon we watched the World Cup;  Japan upset Spain, knocking out Germany in the process. Japan will now advance to the next round as will Croatia and Poland.  From another group we watched, Morocco beat Canada and will advance. The USA has already qualified and will play the Netherlands on Saturday.
