Bird, bee, buds and blooms.....

....lovely day 'out and about' with fellow blipper JMK. We met for lunch and caught up on all the goss, had a few laughs and then enjoyed an amble along the beach.

Nice of this red-billed gull to pose for me, enjoyed seeing the bright yellow buds and flowers of the Dusty Miller properly known as Silver Ragwort and the wee honeybee was being her busy self collecting nectar.

Jackets were required as it was cold today with a few spots of rain. Couldn't believe how busy it was out at sea, we counted 9 ships waiting to go into Lyttelton harbour, I have never seen that many waiting, possibly stocked with Christmas goodies haha.

I had a great day with J, loved using my camera again, thanks J :))
