"Standing with Giants "

I went to the International Bomber Command Centre to seee this installation honouring the 258 fallen in the Falklands conflict 40 years ago .
The tribute represents  the 258 Seafarers, Royal marines, Army and Airmen and 3 civilians who lost their lives in 1982.
The life size Silhouettes are made from recycled signage and there is another of these tributes displayed on the Falkland islands.
In the evening our Choir did our last gig of the year for the Bassingham village W.I. we were the entertainment after their annual meal which smelt delicious :-)  For our efforts we were given a cheque for £100 which will be donated the local St Barnabas Hospice :-)
A back blip but maybe excusable with such a busy day .
