Birling Gap: Chalk

A return visit to Birling Gap, this time in the company of Mrs Catspaw and now with the tide much lower, allowing for more of a stroll on the beach.

The cliffs to the right are the iconic Seven Sisters. Mrs Catspaw and I thought that the layer of chalk beneath the ripples gave the sea something of an Arctic feel. Today's 'Extra' gives this feature an even more surrealistic feel.
