Wind, smoke, fire

What a day. It started off with no wind, but suddenly it started and it is now blowing non stop.
The fires, which are getting closer, are flaring up, the fire fighters are exhausted. I just pray they are controlled before reaching our village.
Otherwise, it was a quiet day. Sister M wanted to take me out to tea and chocolate cake, but when we arrived at our chosen venue two Christmas parties were in full swing!! Cake date will be later!
My dear friend remains in Plettenberg Bay with her husband in hospital. He is battling, he is weak......it's so difficult being away from home.
