A Grand Day Out

A good day.  We headed in to the centre of London from our friends' house in Sheen.  First, a visit to the Psychic Garden in Chelsea which was interesting, and then the main event; lunch at Restaurant Gordon Ramsey.  We've eaten at several one and two Michelin Star restaurants before but this was our first three star experience, and it was every bit as superb as we expected.  Our friends went for the 'traditional' tasting menu which featured dishes they had served in the restaurant in the past, while we went for their 'surprise' tasting menu which featured new dishes that they were developing now.  We only got to see the menu at the end of the meal; I've put a copy of it in as an extra.  You really don't want to know what it cost but it was worth every penny.

We had a walk down through Sloane Square afterwards where I spotted this jewellery advert amongst the Christmas lights.  Now back at our friends' house and chilling out.
