We Both Had Sore Feet By The End Of It

I was very excited this evening as Mr Kit and I headed to Bridlington to see Paul Heaton in concert supported by Billy Bragg. Jacqui Abbot was poorly and so Paul was going solo. We didn’t take it personally as she also didn’t make it when we saw him in Hull last year.

It was a brilliant night..Billy Bragg was a great support and I loved that he updated some of his songs from focusing on gay rights to focusing on trans rights and mental health issues and he was his normal eloquent self.

Paul Heaton was great and although he was obviously suffering from a bad back, and there were a few technical issues, he still put on a great show. We were lucky enough to be right at the front, it was a great crowd and atmosphere and we both had sore feet by the end of the night.
