A Little Bit of Colour

I got into the garden before the rain that was expected by lunch time.. but it stayed fine until the evening and there were only a few drops of rain. Not enough to give the garden a good water.

There are not many flowers out at the moment but by next week I have lots of lilies that will be coming out. I missed seeing all the Peonies and Bearded Iris in flower. The heavy rain and strong winds they got in Akaroa had knocked all the roses about. I gave them a trim back.

It ended up a warm day with around 26c.
