Well - that was quite a day!
Early morning meeting with the guy who owns our warehouse and let’s us use it rent free. Things will change in the future when he redevelops the site but we are ok there for a little while. He gave us a very generous cheque for Foodbank.
A walk along Chesil Bay was next - and it was sooo cold - a huge wind chill to take into account. Then up the hill to Jailhouse Cafe for cheesey  chips and hot chocolate - I think we had earned that.
Then a visit from the heating engineer again - he thinks it’s fixed with a new something or other :).
Another walk - along the side of the marina - which was a bit more sheltered from the icy wind.
Return visit of the engineer as the heating still wasn’t working.
Our last duty - the Weymouth,Dorchester and Poole Rock Choir put on a free concert in StMary’s church in town - asking people to donate to Foodbank with either food or monetary donations. JP had to give a little talk about the Foodbank. Yet again we were blown away by the generosity of the people in Weymouth, during this difficult time for everyone. Bags and bags full of food and over £1000 later. Went home very happy with the days happenings but a tad weary.
