Broken

So this morning a decision was made that I should probably head over to the local A and E to get the ankle properly assessed as the swelling hadn't gone down and a cracking bruise was beginning to appear.

Now the good thing about A and E early in the morning is that it's very quiet.

In, triaged, X-rayed and moon boot fitted all under an hour... The result.... Bone in ankle broken.

I was hoping the crack I heard last night was something other than a bone but alas it wasn't.

And to make matters worse, the planned trip to Keswick has now been canceled :-(
