Dusty docs

Helped a friend paint his sitting room today. He’d been cutting plasterboard,  so my trusty docs were a little grey by day’s end.

Not a problem, thought I. I’ll give them a dust off and they’ll be grand. Forgot about them until Saturday, when I popped them on to attend the graduation procession. Discovered that giving a quick wipe over with a damp cloth created a sheen of plaster. I only have four pairs of shoes, and switching to sandals, slippers or hiking boots wasn’t an option. Cue some frantic scrubbing before I headed out the door.

Even with a bit of polish, Uncle Brian would not have been impressed with the state of my boots! Ah well, nothing that a bit of rainy weather won’t fix :)
