Donuts

Or for someone like me,
 Doughnuts. But then I still spell Yoghurt with an h.

Drove down to Stockport this morning to visit the grandsons.
When we got there we had coffee and doughnuts at a branch of a famous coffee shop chain which was founded in Canada in 1964, a year before we left there to come back to live in England.

It was originally founded by a Toronto Maple Leafs ice hockey player and became one of Canadas best known snacking places. Sadly it is now owned by an even bigger American chain.
We have been to Canadian branches when we visited our relatives in Ontario but today was our first visit to a British branch.

Nice doughnuts. We brought a box home with us.
Of course there are other places selling doughnuts.
