A reindeer on the lights trail!
Another view of the lights trail. This is a huge reindeer that last year was in a shopping centre somewhere! See the extra to see the scale alongside a two storey building.
Today my son and family came to do the trail and before that they went to see Santa in his grotto. They loved it and the fact that it is less crowded than most places. It did get busy after 5pm with lots of people having food and drinks in the barn too.
They also fed the real reindeer with the special moss which is imported from Finland. I helped rehydrate it and then put it into paper cups which are sold for £1 each. The reindeer are very gentle and even small children can feed them easily.
This morning I met up with a friend at the Sculpture by the Lakes cafe and we also had a good look around the Gallery there which featured lots of local artist and local scenes eg Durdle Door.
