284 day of war

While blankets and heaters from the state only promise (in general, electric heaters as an aid are not even relevant now, because they will not work without electricity), the warm blanket has already arrived! Light is still given to us according to the schedule, most often - according to the emergency schedule. Usually the schedule is 4 hours with light and 8 hours without light, twice a day. But now there may not be light all day, but they may give 6-8 hours. We can say that we are used to it and find something to do at different times.
We already have 3 blankets under which we sleep, and during the day we manage to keep warm with a pair of fleece hoodies.
In general, the last week passed without massive shelling, but the news constantly says that the Russian Federation is accumulating aviation and preparing a new attack. It really makes you nervous, because now there is light for at least a few hours a day, and what will happen after the next bombing is scary to imagine.
Due to the constant lack of light, stores have problems with storing products, so I see that people are either closing or buying generators. Because of this, the prices of products have started to rise again, it is already scary to go to stores, because every day I notice that everything is becoming more expensive.

This year, we voted to hold New Year's holidays and put up a Christmas tree in the city center, and by the total number of votes we decided not to put up a Christmas tree. I consider it the right decision, because somehow it will look out of place when the whole city is in darkness.
Now we have a rather tense situation, everyone understands that we need to survive this winter and the Russians will do everything to make our life as difficult as possible. But darkness and cold are in any case better than occupation and repression. I believe that we will endure everything and will be able to win. The constant retreats of the Russians only strengthen the belief in this. It is the tenth month of the war, and we are still alive and thinking whether to put up a Christmas tree! For me, even such conversations are already a sign that life continues.

Також дякую Керол за теплу допомогу! Поки ковдри та обігрівачі від держави тільки обіцяють (взагалі електричні обігрівачі як допомога зараз вже навіть не актуально, бо без електрики вони не будуть працювати), тепла ковдра вже приїхала! Це дуже допомогає зігріватися, а кіт взагалі з під неї більше не виходить) А ще вона дуже гарна :3

Світло нам все ще дають за графіком, частіше за все - за аварійним графіком. Зазвичай графік це 4 години зі світлом і 8 годин без світла, двічи на день. Але зараз світла може не бути весь день, а можуть і давати по 6-8 годин. Ми можна сказати звикли до цього та знаходимо чим зайнятися у різний час.
У нас є вже 3 ковдри під якими ми спимо, а вдень вдається зігрітися парою флісових толстовок.
Загалом останній тиждень пройшов без масованих обстрілів, але у новинах постійно кажуть про те що рф накопичує авіацію та готує новий удар. Це дійсно змушує нервувати, бо зараз хоча б декілька годин на добу є світло, а що буде після наступного бомбардування - страшно уявити.
Через постійну відсуктність світла у магазинів виникають проблеми зі зберіганням продуктів, тому бачу що люди або закриваються, або купують генератори. Через це ціни на продукти знов почали зростати, вже страшно заходити у магазини, бо з кожним днем помічаю що все стає ще дорожчим.

У цьому році ми голосували за проведення новорічних свят та встановлення ялинки у центрі міста та загальним числом голосів вирішили не ставити ялинку. Вважаю це вірним рішенням, бо якось це буде виглядати недоречно, коли все місто у темряві.
Зараз у нас досить напружений стан, всі розуміють що потрібно пережити цю зиму і росіяни зроблять все щоб максимально ускладнити наше життя. Але темрява та холод це у будь якому разі краще, ніж окупація та репресії. Я вірю що ми витримаємо все та зможемо перемогти. Постійні відступи росіян лише укріплюють віру в це. Йде десятий місяць війни, а ми досі живі та думаємо чи встановлювати ялинку! Для мене навіть такі розмови вже є ознакою що життя триває.
