All done!

This was taken after the op four days later at home. They shoved me out of hospital the day after which was brutal physchologically.  Fortunately I had a girlfriend staying for the first few days to look after me!

The operation was surreal as I was awake throughout listening to music and the sounds of saws and hammers in the background behind the screen!!  Had to get out of bed before nightfall which I achieved and then next day learning to cope with the stairs.  In the afternoon T came to visit but ended up taking me home despite my pleading to stay an extra night!  (I had had a hip replacement).
