Carols and jigs
Our saxophone trio (baritone, tenor and me on alto) played carols at the Christmas Fair at Yew Tree Barn, Low Newton - very enjoyable but bitingly cold on the fingers; we played until the need for mulled wine was too much for us.
This evening I played with the Tumbling Tom Big Band at the Crook Morris ceilidh at the Parish Hall in Kendal; very enjoyable watching others dancing and leaping about the hall. (The extra shows the two callers explaining a particularly challenging dance.)
