reaching for the sky

Another solidly grey day in Berlin. I went on a long wonder to put some more pieces of the city together. The walk took me past a number of embassies and into the town centre. I visited the Invalidenfriedhof which is one of the oldest cemeteries in Berlin. The Berlin Wall also ran through it. The chimney is of a gas fired power station that mostly provides heat and recently also electricity to the surrounding area. 

I also used the opportunity to walk past the building that will house our new offices some time next year.
