Beekeeper's Visit.

Spotted the beekeepers at the allotment winterising the bees in their care.  The hives are safely kept behind the gate enclosed within this fenced-off corner.  They had brought some sugar syrup to help them through the winter and adding some waterproofing to the hives.  They had come outside to use a cordless drill as the noise was upsetting the bees and once out of the hive, as it is cold today, they were seeking a heat source which was the beekeepers and so many of them were settling on the outside of their protective white suits.  They had to gently persuade them back into the safety of their hive.  Interesting.
