Doon the watter

Today we took the ferry from Wemyss Bay over to Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. First stop was the wonderful Mount Stuart (1st extra) for their Christmas Food and Craft Market followed by a lovely walk on the deserted beach. 
Had lunch in the Kingsgarth Hotel (2nd extra) then back to Rothesay for a quick wander round a couple of shops but by this time it was getting cold and the light was fading so headed back to the ferry. 
Very tired tonight after a lot of fresh sea air, not bad weather for a ‘trip doon the watter’ in December!
