A new day

Sunday 4th December 2022

The lychgate was a welcoming sight at 7.30am when I arrived for the first service of the day. I didn't get home again until 8.30pm. 

Our 10.30am service was a Family Service and Toy service, where people bring presents for children and their mothers who are at the Women's Refuge. The presents just kept coming forward today. People have been very generous. We were then open all afternoon for people to come to see the Advent windows and we finished with a special service at 4pm. 

I then went for a meal and a meeting at my colleagues house.
