The kids

Really enjoyed the family lunch, 10 adults and 7 children, all the grandchildren of Susan’s sister which makes her a great auntie and the children her great nephews and nieces.

Much activity this morning getting ready and much work to wash up and clear away afterwards. My poor hands from doing the dishes, pots, pans and roasting trays. I should have used Fairy… and as blippers have said; Marigolds.

Lovely time in between all the prep and clear up. The children get on so well together from the youngest to the oldest.

After everyone had gone and the last dish washed up, dried and put away we went out for a revitalising walk around the streets of Balerno in the cold late evening air.
