Pleasant Retirement Home

This is a view of the 'corridor' where Dad's room is situated - his door is just up on the right.  I am really impressed with the way they have created such a welcoming space for the people who live here.  Many of them sit out in this space and watch the activity and day go by.  Unfortunately Dad tends to spend most of his time sitting in his chair inside his room, he was never a big socialiser so whatever makes him happy is most important, but he has certainly perked up greatly with our visits and the cricket outing.
We are due to take him to my mum's 'last resting place' and lunch today, hopefully won't wear him out too much!  Otherwise managed to watch some of the World Cup and hang out with Nicky and Katy.
