An ultimately disappointing result for Falkirk in today's match against Airdrie. The Bairns started well enough and a 1-0 half-time lead was the least they deserved after a fairly dominant 45 minutes. A far more even second half with the Diamonds probably edging it in terms of possession and energy. Falkirk missed a glorious chance to score a second, but it was the visitors who capitalised on some poor defending by the Navy Blues to get a deserved equaliser and left this particular fan rueing another missed opportunity to get closer to the league leaders.
