Brunswick Brass

At the Cotton Exchange.  We headed into Wilmington for a brunch date today - there was a short wait and we wandered a couple of doors down to kill time.  The restaurant would text when a table became available.  These cobblestone walkways and old stone steps wind through what was once probably a cotton processing building, now home to 30 shops and eateries. Most are dog friendly and the coffee shop will make a concoction of dog biscuits and whipped cream for the furry customers.  This was an impromptu band playing Christmas carols.  The brunch was great (voted best brunch in Wilmington this year).  We sat at the bar and became part of a few lively conversations.
