Off on Holiday...

These are barges narrowboats that have been hired from Shire Cruisers, Sowerby Bridge. As part of the hand-over they take you through the first three locks to make sure you are happy with what to do, and how to do it.
I've never holidayed on the canal, but it looks so relaxing. Not sure I could relax to any great degree - I'd be looking for a 'Polly overboard' all the time.
