Leaves

Our garden was largely neglected this year.  The long, hot dry summer (remember that?) was hard on the plant life. Now that the leaves have largely fallen, the lawn was covered in a carpet of them so, at last, I decided to rake them up.  This shot is after half of them had been removed - the other big piles were shifted after the photo was taken..  The compost bin is now full, as is the garden waste bin which the council collects.

There still appears to be plenty of leaves on the lawn, though.
