Not amused....
It was a late night last night after decorating the tree and then cleaning up the dropped needles, so today I had to get a photo of it and my willing assistant had to do her annual pose even though she clearly was not amused!
Our walks in the woods are great at the moment as we have not had rain lately so Xena does not get muddy, and I can save time after the walk as I don't have to wash her down.
Today was a little different with press camping outside the entrance to the area where we live as you probably read in the news about Raheem Sterling being burgled and consequently having to fly home from the World Cup Football in Qatar - he lives nearby and the poor man came home to be with his young family after the burglary. He was previously burgled when he lived in Cheshire before moving down here (players at Chelsea Football Club have to live within a certain distance of the club's training ground which is based here so many of the players live in our villages). He is currently renting this house and the reports in some of the gutter press have been completely erroneous, as to be expected.
Tonight we have our last camera club meeting for the year, and it is a zoom lecture by the well known flower and still life photographer Polina Plotnikova. It's rather nice on a cold winter's night not to have to go out to the club for an in person meeting. I have also been busy today getting the reports ready for tomorrow night when we have our committee meeting.
