Boys came home with pictures from Friday in their bags (well done school for printing them out). The youngest was a little scared of father Christmas, so I said maybe we should both be in the picture, he was almost happy with that. It's actually quite a nice picture. 

Text at 9am this morning from a friend who is on secondment in Australia and works with the flying doctors (puts grey eniglish office job into perspective), ended the evening with a chat with him as he drove home from his shift at 7.30am. Very nice to have a chat and hear his news.

Husband started a new job today, very happy for him to finally start and a good report from day 1.
