Happy birthday to ya

It was a friend's birthday today, so four of us and the littlies met up for tea and birthday cakes, except I didn't have time to make a cake after baby and toddler group this morning, so I baked and iced a giant cookie instead...
Swimming for Grace this evening and it wasn't as fraught as usual as Ophi met some new little friends in the viewing room, which kept her occupied.
Hubby has been quite ill the past week or so but took a turn for the worse yesterday. A sicky bug that he never really recovered from has now become flu-like and he is bedridden much the time :(
