On its own feet

Took my ‘finished’ custom R100s of the hoist today. Anticipated to do a shakedown test this month, but decided against that with the cold and wet weather, and will wait until march next year to put her back on the road. So happy with the end result, I think it looks ace.

Also to make place for another project bike (Honda CB500c, see extra) that belonged to a dear friend who passed away after a short illness a few years ago. The customisation part was completed by him just before he left us, but some technical things need sorting (brakes, electrics, headstock bearings and carburators to name some) and his wife would love to have the bike finished so she can take it for the odd spin. As a few wrenching club members knew the guy, we are happy to oblige and a few people will work on it over the winter.
