Eight ducklings

Had a short jog this evening. There was a time when I only counted a run as a run if I ran all the way and it was at least 8km. Today's jog took less than 25 mins and for almost 10 of those I was walking rather than running. It is enough to keep me feeling fit.

I saw this duck leading her eight ducklings up a steep drive. In the time it took me to go uphill to the start of Manuka Road and then downhill and around towards the Waima Superette, the duck and ducklings had gone past the house whose drive they were on, and out onto the road behind that property. My photo shows the duck encouraging the ducklings to get underneath her tail feathers.
