The Journey Home

A rather busy start to the day, as we have to vacate ‘our’ lodge by 10:00 a.m.

We still manage to have breakfast and then load everything into the ‘Cactus FBI’. There is a place for everything and the operation is completed in time.

The journey home is very pleasant and in fine weather. Apple Maps had detected roadworks/accident and directed us along a very narrow twisty road, luckily without meeting a vehicle coming the other way. Another ‘adventure’.

After we arrived home, the car is soon emptied and our home is brought back to life. The heating is always left on, however, there is much technology to be restarted.

Today’s Blipfoto is of a Christmas package from Naked Wines. It is heavy and I  required the wheels barrow to bring it back from Roseberry to our place.

AF who owns Roseberry found the box sitting on our doorstep despite express instructions to the Courier to deliver it next door. Pat is not amused.

The box and the contents are fine. The cardboard box seems remarkably waterproof.

Overall we had a great Thanksgiving Holiday.
