‘Post Drop-off Get Together’

With the ever-later sunrise and to avoid the murk, my early morning jogs around the park get later and later at this time of year.  

I've been finishing later, too, and today was the first one for a couple of weeks. So instead of seeing parents taking their children to the local primary school as I approached the end of my run, they were now gathered in animated chat outside the local coffee and cake shop just 100 yards from the school. 

The changing sights and sounds of these early morning runs (in all weather) are one of their great attractions, and this was a little world I hadn't known about!
