Birthday Treats

My brother J came down & we went to Craigie Farm for coffee & cake.

Then went to South Queensferry.

Crispy walk from South Queensferry to Hound Point where we soaked up the last of the frosty sun at the sandy corner. Tide was just on the turn out but the breeze was blowing towards shore.

Walked back & a wee doddle along the High Street before heading for wee fish & chips with pot of tea & I also had plum crumble with vanilla ice cream.

So now don't need a munch much until maybe supper time & maybe another baking treat that came too.

Nice birthday walk, something to plant, something to make & foodie treats for me.

Forth Bridge was standing out against the frosty blue sky & reflecting off River Forth. A bit of a chilly breeze so not completely calm for reflections.

Finished off watching the heron just as got back to car.
