Inside Castell de Bellver

Quite an amazingly different design for a castle, this - well compared to the ones we are used to seeing in the UK. It's round as you can see and there;s a separate round tower, accessed via a narrow bridge. You can see the tower peeking above the walls of the central quadrangle shown in the picture. This castle is on the southern outskirts of Palma, up on a hill and surrounded by a substantial area of woodland. We visited on our way to take the rental car back before our evening flight back to Gatwick.
