Hamburg bei Abend

Roaming around in Germany’s second largest city, because I had vacation days over and because I can get there by train.

Main: Sankt Nicolai’s church (now a memorial site) forming a silhouette against the fading light.

First extra: the extremely sparkly decorations of a proper German Christmas market.

Second extra: SJ passenger train departing Kiruna central station… no, wait, it’s “only” a scale model! Hamburg is home to the world’s largest model railroad, and of course I wanted to pay it a visit. Well worth it.
