Street mural

A mixed day of pre-Christmas preparations; church business; haircut; organising mortgage to buy stamps (the first bit is not true but international mail is now v expensive); dog walking etc. not helped by the internet going off a few times as maintenance work was being undertaken.

While out and about I walked in towards the city centre to go to Welch’s: a fish shop. I have been aware it has been around for years but obviously the branch near us has now closed. As I kept looking, I walked further into town than planned. As a result I passed one of two vennels each of which has been decorated with “street murals”.

The Council had supported the works, done in 2018. They still brighten up the passage.
