Black and White

My blip today is a detail of my vene puncture pen (blood-sampling device). The pen has 6 needles and the idea is to change the needle before every punctuation. The tiny little number shows how many clean needles are left (or used, I don't remember which direction it went). It is an enormous waste and I doubt the usefulness.
I used to measure my blood sugar level very frequently after my (type 2) diabetes was discovered. After some time my A1C level was constantly low enough and I stopped to hurt myself with those **** needles.
