Unscathed

A lot of our garden was shredded during the storm yesterday, but the hydrangeas just had a few outer leaves damaged because they were sheltered by the eaves.

My drive to work still had a couple of diversions in place, one taking me through a small suburb that had been so badly affected that their overhead power and telecom cables were not just down but in pieces.

Another storm was brewing as we took Shiv out but thankfully the wind lessened as the evening wore on but the rain battered down for many hours.

It’s been a crazy couple of days.
