Burnt Offerings

I had bought crumpets for snack. A beloved child put them in the oven to warm (melts the butter beautifully). However beloved child forgot all about them until I ventured into the kitchen 20 mins later. They were burnt and rock solid.

Perhaps next time, the timer will be set for approx 3 mins. I was only allowed to blip if I didn't identify the individual involved or as was suggested blame the other one
